Partita prima della pesca

This is one of my most typical paintings. I have always lived close to the sea, as I am half from Rimini.
Beach soccer and volleyball matches were a great classic, a moment of togetherness and carefreeness. When I see one of these scenes, whether it’s in Brazil, along the Italian coastline, in Morocco, or in India, I can’t help but smile and think about how similar we all are when it comes to relationships and play, regardless of latitude or the culture that has shaped us

Paintings on Wood

Oil on wood is the technique I prefer. Wood is a material that lends itself to become an integral part of the background and characters, effortlessly creating a natural harmony.

Wood, as my chosen canvas, holds a unique appeal as it seamlessly merges with the overall composition, becoming an essential element in both the background and the depiction of characters. This harmonious integration effortlessly fuses the natural qualities of the wood with the artistic vision, resulting in a remarkable fusion of the organic and the creative.
Through this approach, my artwork gains a distinctive depth and resonance, where the very essence of the wood resonates with the essence of the subjects, creating a captivating and harmonious narrative that captivates the viewer’s imagination

L’altra scelta

This painting was inspired by the presentation of a film featuring Richard Gere titled “The Invisible” and presented at the headquarters of the Community of Sant’Egidio in Trastevere. Gere himself recounted that during the filming, he spent 40 minutes begging for money wearing a hat, and nobody recognized him because nobody really “looked” at him.
I imagined the New York Stock Exchange, an almost invisible man, and a few elements dressed in red that draw attention to him, peacefully and playfully disrupting the session, attempting to awaken the most human part within each person

Homo Sapiens

I was born on February 15th, right in the midst of Carnival, and I have always celebrated my birthdays with costume parties with my friends. I adore costumes, feathers, and sequins, and I thoroughly enjoy seeing how people interact in these contexts. I love that everyone can become someone else by dressing up for a day. Often, I portray a gorilla who, in the midst of the party, looks at us somewhat puzzled and wonders about us, his descendants, as if conducting an anthropological investigation. Sometimes, he even joins in the dances, while other times he watches us and smiles under his “mustache”

Il rumore del vento

This painting is inspired by a pier I used to visit frequently in Tuscany.
It captures the lights I adore – the hues of sunset casting long shadows, with silhouetted figures. As always, it’s about capturing relationships and interactions between characters, allowing viewers to imagine what they might be doing or saying. The bicycle serves as a metaphor for freedom; unlike motorized vehicles, it offers complete autonomy to roam wherever one pleases. What inspires me most is the sense of joy and liberation… the culmination of the day, a time for chance encounters between characters. This particular spot in Tuscany held a special significance for me, as I often witnessed scenes like these. They also evoke memories of my childhood on the Adriatic coast, where such moments of biking and camaraderie were a true staple.
